Communications intelligence firm Smarsh has appointed Alessandro Silva as its first Chief Growth Officer, responsible for drawing up a unified commercial strategy for its Enterprise, Corporate, Public Sector, and Global Channel business units, as well as driving a new phase of international growth.
Smarsh helps clients in regulated industries find key insights in communications data, and identify regulatory and reputational risks within it before they become 'fines or headlines.' Clients include nine of the top 10 banks in North America, Europe and Asia, plus brokerage firms, insurers, registered investment advisors, and US state and local government agencies. So far this year the company has launched AI products Discovery Agent, an MCP server, AskSmarsh AI and MySearch Agent.
Silva (pictured) joins from ACI Worldwide where he was Chief Revenue Officer, leading global sales effectiveness, go-to-market strategy, and customer success. Earlier he held senior sales and general management roles at Western Union, GE Capital and The Carlyle Group.
CEO Kim Crawford Goodman comments: 'Smarsh has an exceptional foundation for global growth: trusted technology, talented people, and a customer base that includes 80% of the world's top global banks. Alessandro brings the global perspective and proven leadership we need to turn that opportunity into sustained growth.'
