Inex One Offers Pay-as-you-Go Expert Interviews

Stockholm-based Inex One has launched a self-serve plan for users of its expert interview marketplace, allowing individual execs to sign up, pay by card, find matches for the expertise they seek and immediately start booking calls.

Inex One serves as a global aggregator of expert networks and B2B surveys, giving user teams rapid access to interviews with experienced industry operators. It then stores the transcripts in growing libraries which can be searched with AI. Its 8,000 plus global clients are in private equity, market research and corporate strategy. In 2022 the firm launched a platform allowing users to connect and chat with survey vendors, send requests for quotes, receive bids, select providers and run projects all in one place.

The company says that traditionally expert calls have mostly been the preserve of hedge funds, and featured 'annual prepaid contracts, opaque 'credit' pricing, and manual administration' - deterring the 'many independent consultants, strategy professionals, and business leaders who also seek expert insights.' Potential users for the new offering include a product manager or user researcher testing a new market.

The new self-serve plan costs $500 per project, with calls then billed per hour at the network's rate - there is otherwise no minimum spend, and no subscriptions or prepayments are required. Users can cancel free of charge within the first ten minutes of a call if the expert is 'not a good fit'.

'Expert calls have been a secretive tool for Wall Street,' says CEO Max Friberg. 'Now we make them available to regular companies, business leaders, and founders. If you need just a few interviews, you shouldn't have to sign a $50,000 prepaid contract with opaque 'credits'. With Inex One, you pay only for the work you do.'
