London-based Obsero, which helps companies track and optimize their AI search results, has raised $1.2 million in seed funding, with which to double its software engineering workforce, accelerate commercial expansion and build its first specialist AI agents based on proprietary client methodology.
Obsero promises clients the ability to track and understand how AI tools including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews are recommending their brand, using metrics for Visibility, Prominence, Sentiment and Citations. The firm is led by CEO Mike Logue and CPO Andy Francos, and currently focuses on high-intent comparison industries such as consumer lending, trading and online casinos.
'AI is changing how people discover brands faster than any shift I've seen in marketing, and most teams are still flying blind,' says Logue (pictured). 'We've spent a year learning what actually moves the needle. Now it's time to put that into the hands of every marketing team that needs it.' Francos, who has spent his career in SEO, says of the shift to AI-based search: 'Brands that assume their old playbook will carry over are already losing ground. Over the past year we've built a clear, evidence-based view of what drives visibility in AI Search. Now we're putting that expertise into agents, so every team can apply it, not just the ones that can afford a specialist.'
The round was led by SFC Capital, with participation from the company's own enterprise customers. The company is on the web at www.obsero.ai .
