BMRB and Henley Centre Combine for Public Sector Insight Launch

May 1 2007

In the UK, Kantar has announced the launch of the 'Institute for Insight in the Public Services', a joint initiative between two of its companies, BMRB Social Research and Henley Centre HeadlightVision (HCHLV).

Dr Michelle Harrison, formerly Head of Public Sector Consultancy at HCHLV, will chair the new organisation, which will bring together the public sector research and consultancy expertise of the two companies for clients across Whitehall, local government and the NHS. Harrison remains a Director of HCHLV and has recently joined the Executive Board of BMRB.

Kantar says the new body will provide thought leadership on connecting with citizens, run seminars and produce publications to share and promote global best practice. CEO Eric Salama comments: 'The Institute brings together BMRB's social policy research expertise with Henley Centre's focus on social trends, strategic vision and implementation. These are core elements for delivering better futures in governance, at a time when the focus is shifting to efficiency and citizen satisfaction.'

A launch event will be held on June 14th at The Commonwealth Club, Westminster, London.

BMRB Social Research works for clients across a wide range of policy areas conducting large and complex studies such as the British Crime Survey. HCHLV, which has an associated company, Henley Centre India, in Mumbai and Delhi, focuses on understanding consumer and social change, and analysing and applying this knowledge to help clients' strategic planning. Web sites are at www.hchlv.com , www.bmrb.co.uk and www.kantargroup.com .
