Zoomerang Upgrades to Allow Sharing of Best Practice

May 24 2007

Online survey software firm and MarketTools subsidiary Zoomerang has upgraded its zPro software with enhanced reporting and survey creation tools, and the introduction of open online user forums.

The Zoomerang User Forums will allow customers to communicate online to share best practice about market research techniques. Participants will be able to share survey results with other users and ask each other questions about their own research practices and survey ideas.

Zoomerang General Manager Dana Meade said: 'With this new Zoomerang release, we are continuing our innovation of online survey creation and management by empowering our users to learn the best real-world survey strategies from their own peers. We are even better positioned to help users – from students to professionals – conduct online surveys on any subject matter, see and share those results immediately, and extend their market research knowledge.'

The reporting and survey creation upgrades includes the addition of:

  • graphics for improved design
  • an overview box to provide details of the number of surveys sent and completed alongside the survey results, and with the option for the user to apply filters to see respondent counts
  • the ability to export opted-out and bounced responses
  • Sort Surveys which allows categorisation by deployment status, survey name and launch date to provide a dashboard view of all survey tasks.
San Francisco-based Zoomerang is part of research provider MarketTools, and provides a 'self-service' platform for managing online surveys. The firm has more than 900,000 registered customers and is online at www.zoomerang.com .
