MattsonJack Promotes Medical Man

Saint Louis-based pharma and biotech research consultancy MattsonJack has promoted Dr Amit Dhawan to the role of Medical Director, where he will build on his experience in clinical medicine, new product analysis, epidemiology, and market trend forecasting.

Dr Amit DhawanDhawan, who will also be helping senior R&D and commercial executives make business decisions, joined the firm in 2000 as Consultant and Assistant Medical Director, after completing his MD and MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He subsequently earned an MHA from Washington University School of Medicine.

Dr Robert Ramsey, VP and Chief Scientific Officer for MattsonJack commented on the new appointment: 'Amit's breadth and depth of clinical knowledge, combined with his commercial insights and the ability to think outside the box have made him one of MattsonJack's most-requested consultants by our clients.'

Executive VP Jerry Fields agreed: 'Dr Dhawan is a highly regarded individual who brings a unique combination of scientific and commercial perspectives together to help solve client problems.'

Outside his role at MattsonJack, Dhawan is involved in a number of community projects, and for both his professional and civic involvements, has earned the St Louis Business Journal's 30 Under 30 award.
