Matt PictonThe directors of UK full service agency Boxclever Consulting have appointed their former Nunwood colleague Matt Picton as Research Director.

Leeds-based Boxclever was established in 2010 by former Nunwood Board Directors Kathryn Boxall, Sam Gardner and Claire Boorman, who previously headed Nunwood’s Global Insight, Analytics and Activation divisions respectively.

Last November, their company relocated to new premises in a mansion house called Old Elmete Hall, after reporting ‘significant growth’ in the size of the business following several new contract wins.

Picton (pictured) joins with a twelve-year market research background. Most recently, he worked at ad and brand research specialist Hall & Partners, prior to which he spent four years at Nunwood, leading account teams and designing bespoke research solutions. He began his career at Millward Brown, before joining the Central Office of Information (COI) as Research Manager, predominantly covering the development and evaluation of communications.

Commenting on the appointment, Boxall said: ‘Having worked with Matt previously, we know what a great reputation he has across the industry. This is a period of rapid growth for Boxclever, and as we continue to add more clients who expect an end-to-end senior team, Matt will be pivotal in helping us to continue to deliver this.’
