Jim HelbergUS ad agency RPA has appointed Jim Helberg as Senior Vice President of Media Strategy, Integration and Analytics at its HQ in Los Angeles.

Helberg (pictured) joins the agency’s Office of Media Communications team, which integrates traditional and interactive media plans.

During his career, he has worked across multiple categories including automotive, packaged goods, airlines, fast food and financial services. He was most recently EVP, Product Marketing and Analytics for Autobytel, and he previously held senior roles at FCB, Grey, Saatchi, OMD and PHD. Earlier in his career, Helberg was Group VP, Corporate Sales and Marketing at Time Inc., and spent an initial spell at RPA shortly after the agency became independent in 1986.

In his new role, Helberg will work on client initiatives, help senior management with media strategies such as cross-platform development, and further develop brand and media analytics/modeling.
