US-headquartered custom marketing research firm M/A/R/C Research has promoted Alice Butler to the role of Senior Vice President in charge of the Research Services teams, and Patricia Wakim to the position of Senior Vice President of Finance. Both are based at its office in Irving, TX.

The firm offers qual and quant, traditional and online solutions, to help clients create, evaluate and strengthen their brands. M/A/R/C Research, which is part of Omnicom's Diversified Agency Services, is based in Dallas, TX, with additional offices in Greensboro, NC; Nashville, TN; New York, NY; and St Louis, Mo.

Butler (pictured) has been with the company for more than 27 years, having joined in 1985 as a Data Analyst and then held roles including Director of Telephone Operations and Director of Research Services. In her new position, Butler manages the data collection and service partners, while assisting M/A/R/C Research's teams to develop and implement solutions.

Wakim brings more than 20 years of financial management experience to the executive team. She joined the company as VP of Finance in 2001, prior to which, she served as Budget Director at United Advertising Publications, and was a Staff Accountant at JRBT/RTC.
