
In Los Angeles, media services company KSL Media has appointed Deanna Kawasaki as Executive Vice President / Managing Director of Consumer Insight and Analytics, with a remit to direct customer segmentation, target audience profiling, and media mix modeling.
Launched in 1981, KSL Media offers advanced customer and media analytics that reveal customer’s 24 hour media consumption patterns.
Kawasaki (pictured) joins from Qknowledge, where she served as Consultant. Prior to this, she was an Analytics Consultant at Surfliner Services, and a Consultant at Zzyyxx Consulting Group. Earlier, she served as Director of Analytics at Overture, Analytics Consultant at E*Trade Financial, and VP Quantitative Research at Countrywide. Kawasaki also held research roles at Buena Vista Home Entertainment, Mattel Toys, and Amgen.
She takes over her new role from Richard Birt, who left recently to head Palisades Media’s newly launched Business and Analytics department.
