In the US, Kantar Health Global CEO Lynnette Cooke has been elected as Chair of the CASRO Board from 2014, following the tenure of 2013 Chair Michael Brereton, who serves as President and CEO of Maritz Research.

Founded in 1975, CASRO represents 330 research organizations in the US and abroad, with member benefits including a government and public affairs program, industry surveys, and staff training, along with networking opportunities.

Cooke (pictured) will be joined on CASRO’s Board by Steven Wilde, COO of Directions Research, who was elected as Treasurer, and Rahul Sahgal, President and CEO of Annik, who was elected as Secretary.

Joining the Board for three-year terms are David Rothstein, President of RTi Research and George Terhanian, President, North America & Group Chief Strategy Officer at Toluna. Andrew Reid, Founder & Co-CEO of Vision Critical, was elected to a two-year term, while Dave Richardson, Partner, Artemis Strategy Group, will serve as Past Chairs Representative.

Board members whose terms of office will end on December 31, 2012 are: Robin Arnold (CEO, The Gilmore Research Group), who has served for four years as Treasurer; Richard Day President, RDR, (a Market Probe company), who will complete two years as Past Chairs Representative; and Kevin Menk (Managing Partner, Strategic Resource Partners), who at the end of 2012 will have completed nine years on the CASRO Board, serving as Treasurer and as Board Chair during his tenure.
