US analytics firm MarketShare has formed an EMEA Advisory Board, as part of its plans to extend its presence into Europe.
Founded in 2005, MarketShare has developed a suite of software solutions which combine advanced analytics and statistical modelling to help companies improve their sales and marketing strategies. In 2011, the firm
closed a $32m ‘follow-on’ investment from Elevation Partners, whose MD and co-founder is U2 front-man Bono.
Members of its new Board include former United Business Media CEO Clive Hollick; Aegis Media’s former Global Head of Effectiveness and Analytics Eduardo Salazar; David Wethey, owner of Agency Assessments International; and Robert Diamond, the founder of Fernbrook Partners.
MarketShare says it will partner with the four, to drive ‘industry thought leadership’ and to evolve its regional business strategy.
Heath Podvesker (pictured), EVP of MarketShare, EMEA, comments: ‘At MarketShare, we have been very selective to whom we appoint on our EMEA Advisory Board; and we have found world-class, forward thinkers who have a proven track record in executive leadership. We are honoured to have advisors of such standing.’
