Hannah RobertsIn London, consumer information publisher Mintel has appointed Hannah Roberts as Vice President of Global Insight for its Beauty and Personal Care (BPC) service.

Mintel, which has additional offices in Chicago, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo and Sydney, launched the BPC division in 2011, to offer brands and retailers monthly predictive analysis for nine categories, and study the sector's consumers, companies and markets.

Roberts joins with experience in marketing planning, ingredient application, packaging and product claims within the mass and prestige beauty and personal care market. Most recently, she worked at Laura Mercier Cosmetics and Revive Skincare as Brand Marketing Director, prior to which, she developed and managed commercial strategies for the beauty division of Harrods.

In her new role, Roberts is responsible for developing the firm's insights and analysis with a focus on consumer research, innovation, and product development on a global scale.

She reports to Jane Henderson, Global President, BPC Division, who comments: 'Hannah's expertise makes her a most valued addition to Mintel's team of global beauty and personal care specialists. Her knowledge and achievements in her successful career within the industry will make a key contribution to further develop Mintel's solution for the beauty sector.'
