AURA

March 5 2013

Richard DruryAURA, the clientside networking forum, has re-elected Boots UK Customer Insights Manager Richard Drury as its Chair for 2013.

In the last year, AURA individual membership has grown 4% to 570 members from 167 organisations across all industry sectors, and this membership is estimated to directly control or influence about a third of all UK research expenditure.

In his role as Chair, which he has held for more than three years, Drury (pictured) oversees the organising council, which is responsible for setting out AURA’s strategy, delivering regular seminars, running the annual conference, and hosting an online forum through which members can share best practice on customer insight.

He is joined on the council by Dagmar Albers, Senior Customer Intelligence Manager at Pfizer; Graeme Armstrong, Market Research Manager at Bausch + Lomb; Pamela Gelie, Market Research Analyst, EMEA at AIG; Carolyn Jukes, Customer Insights Manager at AXA; and Katherine Lawson, Senior Customer Insight Manager at Royal Mail. This year, AURA’s seminar and conference programme will be led by Ben Tuttle, who previously held senior insights roles at Cadbuy and Diageo.

Commenting on his re-appointment, Drury said: ‘It’s great to report a growing and engaged group of members. Our members see their biggest challenge as creating business impact from customer insight. Sharing best practice at our networking seminars and on our forum helps towards this goal.’
