DJS Research

March 8 2013

Paul HylandsCheshire-based DJS Research has appointed former Co-Op Banking Group Customer Service Team Manager Paul Hylands as Operations Manager for its CATI Services division.

Founded in 2001, full service agency DJS offers a range of qual and quant services for clients in the education, healthcare, public sector, retail and utilities markets.

Hylands (pictured) joins with around two decades’ experience of managing telephone operatives in both inbound and outbound settings. Most recently at The Co-operative Banking Group, he led a team of ten customer service and sales advisors, prior to which he worked for British Gas as Team Manager in the customer service and sales department, at charity BSS as Team Manager in charge of the call centre, and as UK and US Operations Team Manager at B2B financing firm RentSmart. Earlier in his career, Hylands was a Business Analyst at O2.

In his new role, he will manage and develop DJS Research’s telephone unit, which currently seats 50 to 60 B2B and consumer interviewers. He will work alongside Jane Mannion, who has moved to the role of Operations Manager for Fieldwork Services, and Janice Beard, who has been promoted to the newly created role of Field Recruitment Executive.

Operations Director Matt Coulling comments: ‘I think the addition of Paul is a huge step for us - he’s certainly brought in some great ideas and I’m looking forward to seeing him develop the CATI unit even further in the coming months. The changes to the field department illustrate our continued commitment to internal promotion. Jane Mannion’s experience speaks for itself, but Janice has demonstrated over the past few months that she is incredibly personable and has a real flair for recruitment, and it’s fantastic for us to be able to bring her completely on-board.’
