Andy FisherCustomer relationship marketing (CRM) firm Merkle has appointed former Starcom MediaVest Analytics Director Andy Fisher as Chief Analytics Officer, in charge of the firm’s digital analytics and marketing measurement capabilities.

Merkle combines marketing, technical, analytical and creative disciplines, to help clients design, execute and evaluate their CRM programs. With more than 1,700 employees, the firm is headquartered near Baltimore in Columbia, Maryland with additional offices in Boston; Denver; Little Rock; Minneapolis; New York; Philadelphia; Pittsburgh; San Francisco; Hagerstown, MD and Shanghai.

Fisher (pictured) joins from Starcom MediaVest Group, where he served as EVP, Global Data & Analytics Director, managing a global team of 150 analytics professionals across 17 countries. Prior to this, he was VP and National Lead, Analytics at Razorfish, in charge of the digital analytics practice. He began his career as a Senior Analyst at IRI.

In his new role, Fisher will focus on scaling Merkle’s digital and marketing measurement optimization practices, while driving innovation and business development across digital, traditional, inbound, and outbound channels.
