Adam WoodgateIn the UK, youth research agency Dubit has appointed Adam Woodgate - formerly Senior Market Insight and Audience Panel Manager at BBC Worldwide - as Research Manager.

Leeds-based Dubit runs direct-to-youth online panels and networks in the UK, tracking young people’s trends, motivations and behaviours.

Woodgate (pictured) joins after nearly two years at BBC Worldwide, where he conducted quant research using the broadcaster’s online insiders panel, and commissioned qual research through external agencies. Prior to this he spent more than five years at Xpertise, latterly as Insight and Business Development Manager, commissioning and analysing the results of primary research; and he worked at Emap as Group Head of Research. Earlier in his career, Woodgate held programming roles at a number of radio stations.

Commenting on his appointment, Dubit CEO Ian Douthwaite said: ‘Adam’s appointment and publishing expertise comes at time we are seeing increased demand for our services from the publishing industry, as many come to terms with the impact digital has had on their audience.’
