
In the US, specialist youth and family research and consulting firm Smarty Pants has appointed Liz Lamar as ‘Qualitative Research Prodigy’, serving as both the firm’s Field Director and Research Analyst on qualitative research initiatives.
Headquartered in Johnson City, TN, with offices in New York, Boston, San Diego, Chicago and Myrtle Beach, SC, Smarty Pants conducts research with kids, tweens, teens, parents and influencers to help guide brand positioning, product development and analysis of consumer lifestyle trends.
Lamar (pictured) joins from full-service ad agency 22squared, where she served as a Brand Planner on family-centered brands. Prior to this, she was an Associate Product Development Manager at Kids II, assisting in developing brand strategy and business plans within the baby gear industry. She began her career at Young & Rubicam in New York.
In her new role at Smarty Pants, Lamar is based in Nashville, TN. Founder and President Wynne Tyree comments: ‘Liz is among the most promising young talent in the industry. She has a strong background in advertising and strategic planning and a wealth of insight into the infant, toddler and preschool markets.’
