Big data predictive analytics specialist Predictix has appointed Ron Menich as Executive Vice President and Chief Scientist, replacing Loren Williams, who is joining Ernst & Young as Executive Director of the firm’s Advisory Services practice.

Using big data, predictive analytics, retail science, and computing, The Predictix Adaptive Platform for Intelligent Decisions can be used to help retailers gain real-time insights for planning, allocation, assortment and space optimization, pricing, forecasting, and replenishment.

Menich (pictured) joins with 18 years of experience in demand forecasting, optimization and large-scale recommendation processing systems. Most recently, he served as Chief Scientist in the Pricing and Revenue Management business unit at JDA Software Group. Earlier, he was Senior Consultant Operations Research at Manugistics, Operations Research Analyst at Talus Solutions, and Operations Research Analyst at Aeronomics. He also served as a Reliability Engineer/Statistician at Failure Analysis Associates.
