Martin Brown and Berit BlockBoston-based customer intelligence analytics specialist DataXu has promoted Martin Brown to the position of Managing Director in its UK office, while former comScore marketer Berit Block has joined as the firm’s first European Marketing Director.

DataXu offers a machine learning-based digital ad campaign platform called DX3, which employs a multivariate decision system to understand how consumers engage across multiple devices. Through the analysis of consumer sentiment, DX3 helps to optimize media investments in real-time, while also providing access to a suite of analytics tools.

In February, the firm raised $27m in new funding, which it is using to support ongoing global expansion and accelerate development of its technology.

Brown joined in 2011 as Director of Enterprise Sales, EMEA, having previously served as Agency Group Head at Yahoo! UK.

Block previously managed the marketing for digital measurement specialist comScore in Northern Europe, where she worked for nearly four years, and most recently served as Senior Marketing Manager in charge of the EU PR team.
