In the US, FEARnet – which delivers horror, thriller and suspense programs across multi-platforms – has appointed Elizabeth Greer as Director of Research.
FEARnet, which is a partnership between Sony Pictures Television, Lionsgate Entertainment and Comcast Corporation, features a line-up of titles from major film studios and independents, which are distributed to US cable subscribers across the country across various systems.
Greer (pictured) joins from ad agency RPA, where she worked for the past six years, and latterly served as Media Research Manager. Prior to this, she held media planning roles at Kastner & Partners, Starcom MediaVest Group, and Dailey & Associates. She began her career with market research internships at SIMGA Marketing Group and Mindshare.
In her new role, based in the company's Santa Monica headquarters, Greer is responsible for directing and developing all network research efforts, using ratings data and other analytic databases, for FEARnet's three content properties: the linear TV channel, free VOD movie service and web site.
