The Council for Research Excellence (CRE)

Janice Finkel-Greene, Jeffrey Graham, Mark Kaline and Robin ThomasIn New York, Nielsen-funded independent think tank The Council for Research Excellence (CRE) has approved four new members.

Created in 2005, the CRE is dedicated to advancing the knowledge and practice of audience measurement methodology. It comprises senior-level industry researchers, advertisers, agencies, broadcast networks, cable syndicators, local stations, and industry associations.

New members include Janice Finkel-Greene, EVP and Director of Buying Analytics at Magna Global; Jeffrey Graham, Director of Advertiser Research at Twitter; Mark Kaline, Director, Global Media & Licensing at Kimberly-Clark Corporation; and Robin Thomas, SVP Research at Tribune Studios/WGN America.

Ceril Shagrin, EVP of Univision Communications and chair of the CRE, comments: ‘The council is capping off a very active first-half 2013, most recently with three well-attended presentations of study findings at the Advertising Research Foundation’s Audience Measurement 8.0 conference. The second half of 2013 promises to be similarly busy, so these new members join us at a welcome time.’
