
Digital audience profiling specialist Effective Measure has appointed Lizzie Babarczy for its new role as Global Chief Marketing Officer, based in Sydney, Australia; while Stephanie Walters joins as Business Development Director – South Africa, based in Johannesburg.
As well as its operations in
South Africa and Australia, the firm has offices in
Dubai, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, The Philippines, and Thailand, from where it offers ‘Digital Helix’ technology to overcome issues with cookie deletion and unique visitor audience calculation.
Babarczy joins with a fifteen year background in marketing and digital measurement across the UK, Asia Pacific, and the US. Most recently, she was a freelance marketing strategist, prior to which, she was Marketing Director at Experian Asia Pacific, and Marketing Director for Experian Hitwise. She began her career as an Account Manager at Rapp Collins Worldwide in Melbourne.
Effective Measure says that the recruitment of its first Global CMO marks a period of expansion as the company launches in new markets including, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Kenya, Morocco, Zimbabwe and Nigeria before year end.
In Australia, Babarczy joins recently appointed CTO
John Griffin, who joined the company from Nielsen in August, and Account Manager Claudia Barriga-Larrivière.

In South Africa, Walters joins as the company prepares to launch in Zimbabwe, Kenya, Nigeria and Morocco. Most recently, she worked at classifieds site Junk Mail, where she was National Sales Manager, prior to which, she held senior roles as CEO Holdings and Webmail International.
In her new role, Walters reports to newly appointed Dubai-based Regional Brand Sales Director – MEA, Matthew Robarts and Country MD
