Miami-based healthcare analytics and insights specialist QualMetrix has appointed Visual Intelligence co-founder Cristian Ilie as Chief Technology Officer.

QualMetrix offers a platform with business intelligence, analytics, and predictive modeling capabilities, which are used to profile providers, patients and diseases.

Ilie joins with more than fifteen years’ experience in the healthcare, market research, and social media sectors. He set up data science informatics firm Visual Intelligence in 2008, to offer advanced analytics, consumer products, and market research to the healthcare industry. Earlier, he was Senior Strategist, Health Informatics Innovations at Independence Blue Cross, a Senior Consultant in Life Sciences Informatics at Spotfire, and Statistics Manager at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Health System.
