Diane O’NeillIn the UK, technology competitive and market intelligence researcher Strategy Analytics has appointed Diane O’Neill as a Director in its User Experience Innovation Practice (UXIP).

Strategy Analytics is headquartered in Boston, MA, with offices in the UK, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea and China. Its UXIP division offers in-depth interviews, focus groups and observational sessions to study user behaviour, motivations and interests within the automotive, wireless devices, connected home, and digital media sectors.

O’Neill (pictured) joins from information and analytics provider IHS, where she served as AD of the Medical Electronics Research Group (previously InMedica, a division of IMS Research), in charge of a team of analysts. Earlier, she worked for IMS Research as a Senior Market Analyst, producing market statistics within imaging, clinical care, and healthcare IT research areas.

Commenting on the appointment, Kevin Nolan, VP UXIP, said: ‘I am delighted to welcome such an experienced analyst into our practice. Her appointment will provide timely support to the expansion of our user experience business as we continually enhance our project portfolio and capabilities through both syndicated and proprietary research.’
