Decipher Media Research

Stacey SterzelUK-based media research company Decipher Media Research has appointed Stacey Sterzel (nee Hand) as Head of Quantitative Research.

West London-based Decipher provides consumer insight to broadcasters, TV platforms and ISPs across Europe - with a focus on consumer adoption of new, converged devices and services. The company has recently opened a branch of its media research lab iBurbia Studios in Manchester and Glasgow. 

Sterzel (pictured) previously spent five years as a Research Manager in GfK NOP Media, where she ran research and tracking studies for a wide range of media companies around the UK. In her new role, she will lead Decipher’s quantitative research programme which includes the firm’s consumer report Mediabug, as well as the campaign effectiveness programme OCAT.

Research Director Hamish McPharlin comments: ‘I’m very excited that Stacey has joined us. She brings a great deal of experience to the role, and is very enthusiastic about doing fantastic research from method through to delivery. She will be a strong force in expanding our research programme into new areas.’
