Jason BriggsWPP-owned insight and innovation consultancy The Futures Company has appointed Jason Briggs as a Director in its EMEA office.

The Futures Company was created by the merger of the Henley Centre HeadlightVision and Yankelovich, and has more recently been merged with youth research unit TRU. The firm specializes in futures and trends, segmentation, quant analysis and modelling, and has teams in the UK, US, Singapore, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.

Briggs (pictured) joins with an ad agency and branding background, having started his career at WPP-owned Leo Burnett as a Senior Account Manager, before working for Saatchi and Saatchi as a Board Account Director. More recently, he worked for youth/families marketing agency Creata as General Manager for Europe. He has also run two of his own businesses: equipforlife, a behaviour management company creating new methodologies and proprietary tools to help children improve their ‘emotional intelligence’; and a brand, marcoms and product design consultancy.

Managing Director EMEA Henry Tucker says Briggs will help the firm expand its growth across the EMEA region, and adds: ‘His breadth of experience will be a great asset across our portfolio of clients, and he will complement our business beautifully, bringing fresh energy and additional expertise to our growing offer.’
