The Audited Media Association of Australia (AMAA) has appointed Sterling Publishing director Phillip Tarrant to its Board, in a role which will involve him representing business and professional publications, speciality publications, and exhibition members.
AMAA was
formed last year from the merger of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) and Circulations Audit Board (CAB). The combined entity provides audited media data, standards and information services, while also verifying print and digital circulation and distribution, web site analytics, exhibition and conference attendance, and e-mail newsletter distribution.
Tarrant (pictured), who is a director at Sterling Publishing, has more than twelve years’ experience in publishing for the mortgage, financial services, investment, and property sectors. He also sits on the Board of Publishers Australia as well as the Property Investment Professionals of Australia (PIPA).
AMAA Chair, Dr Stephen Hollings, commented: ‘The addition of a powerhouse specialist publisher such as Sterling Publishing adds a new dimension to the Board’s perspective and continues the focus on niche and specialist media’s ability to deliver quality inventory to advertisers and their agencies.’
