Lydia JonesIn the UK, full service research agency Crowd DNA has appointed Lydia Jones as Associate Director in Amsterdam, while promoting Eric Shapiro to Knowledge Leader: Trends & Creative Delivery and Charlie Potter to Film Content Manager in London.

Formed in 2008, the Shoreditch, London-based firm conducts commercial and thought leadership research in areas such as media, fashion retail, technology and entertainment. Services include product and communications testing, audience segmentation, competitor analysis and social media tracking.

Jones (pictured) joins after working as a Senior Planner at creative agency Nomads in Amsterdam, having previously been a freelance senior planner in London, a Planner at Dare, and a Graduate Planner at Harrison Troughton Wunderman.

Shapiro, who most recently worked for Crowd DNA as a Consultant, joined the company in 2012 as a Research Executive, having previously been an Account Executive at Hall & Partners, and a Research Executive at Essential Research. In his new role, Shapiro will ensure the quality of the firm’s creative outputs, develop new story telling techniques, and manage trend analysis.

Potter has been with the company since last October in a role which involved overseeing online community work. He is currently tasked with producing video material – from in-the-moment video blogging methods, to broadcast quality documentaries.
