Vivian HarrisUS research and consulting firm The Marketing Workshop (MW) has appointed Vivian Harris as Vice President – Client Services.

Founded in 1972, MW offers a range of services such as advertising and branding research; customer experience and perception studies; product innovation; and web, mobile and social media research. In addition, its data collection arm Compass Marketing Research conducts phone studies, qual research, and houses the firm’s commercial kitchen facility for quant taste tests and other sensory research needs.

Harris (pictured) joins after eight years at Millward Brown, where she latterly served as VP, responsible for client consulting, account team management and business development, while also providing senior level consulting to client marketing teams. Prior to this, she worked for United Parcel Service as Market Research Manager, she was a Research Analyst at Burke Marketing Research, and she served as an Associate Analyst at Market Facts.

In her new role, Harris will lead one of MW’s Client Service teams. President Scott Layne comments: ‘Vivian is skilled as a researcher, savvy as a marketer and has a keen understanding of business. Clients will find her delightful to work with as she brings imperial value to the table.
