American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As)

Terry CohenIn New York, industry body the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As) has hired Digitas veteran Terry Cohen for its new position of Senior Vice President of Media and Media Research.

Founded in 1917, the 4As is the national trade association representing the ad agency business in the United States. As a ‘management-oriented association’ 4As offers its members a broad range of services, expertise and information regarding the sector.

Cohen (pictured) joins after a year running her own ad measurement and marketing research consultancy. Prior to this, she spent eighteen years at Publicis Groupe-owned Digitas, where she latterly served as SVP – Strategy & Analysis, providing clients with guidance on marketing campaign measurement, digital media investment, web site analytics, performance marketing, and customer segmentation. During her time with the firm, she launched its Web Analytics and Digital Measurement practice, and she also led cross-agency teams (Digital and TV) to help clients to measure the impact of their ad campaigns and marketing events.

Outside work, Cohen previously served as a member of the Digital Analytics Association Board of Directors, and also on the eMetrics Advisory Board.
