Brian GarinoIn the US, WPP-owned health behavior specialist Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide has appointed Brian Garino as Director of Analytics of its Ogilvy Healthworld marcoms agency.

New Jersey-based Ogilvy Healthworld provides a combination of science, brand, and healthcare marketing, to build creative strategies and programs for clients. Services include brand identity development, clinical trial recruitment, market research and analytics, media planning, and medical advertising.

Garino (pictured) joins with more than eighteen years of econometric modeling, market research, and consulting experience. Most recently, he oversaw an Advanced Analytics practice at Ogilvy sister agency Geometry Global (previously named OgilvyAction), which specializes in consumer behavior marketing. Before this, he was a Senior Director at Analytics Partners, VP Modeling & Analytics at IRI, and he was Manager of Nielsen/Spectra Marketing. Earlier, he worked for The NPD Group.

In his new role, Garino heads the firm’s Predictive Analytics, Predictive Modeling and Consulting practices.
