In the UK, industry body the Interviewer Quality Control Scheme (IQCS) has elected Facts International Field Director Adam Wyles on to its council.

Founded in the 1970s, the IQCS requires members to adhere to a set of benchmark MR industry standards covering recruitment, training, and appraisal of field staff, while also implementing various admin and validation processes to maintain the quality and accuracy of data collected. There are currently 33 member companies, and each was entitled to one vote in the recent council election.

Commenting on his IQCS appointment, Wyles (pictured) said he is very much looking forward to supporting the current council members and growing the awareness of interviewer quality.

Wyles joined Facts International in 2012, having previously served as Field Operations Director at Lake Market Research and as Deputy Field Manager at Sample Surveys. He was recently part of the team which helped Facts International win the Best Field Force category in the newly launched Market Research Society (MRS) Operations Awards.
