Oslo, Norway-based fieldwork group Norstat has promoted Santa Plivca to the position of Country Manager in Latvia.

The firm provides qualitative online field services, access to online panels in nineteen countries, and other traditional data collection methods in some of those markets. In Latvia, Norstat has a focus group facility, 32 CATI seats, and around 19,000 Latvian online panellists.

Plivca (pictured) joined in 2010 as International Project Manager, and more recently served as International Client Development Manager, responsible for developing and building client relationships, key account management, and sales and marketing budget planning. Prior to this, she was a Senior Market Adviser at the UK Trade & Investment section of the British Embassy in Riga.

Kaspar Küünarpuu, Regional Manager for CEE at Norstat, comments: ‘Santa has a lot of knowledge and experience in the industry.
