Ahmed HamadaIn the UK, consumer insights and analytics specialist Bonamy Finch has appointed MBA graduate Ahmed Hamada as a Data Science Executive.

Surrey-based Bonamy Finch delivers analytically-driven consumer insight services to consultancies and research agencies, while also working directly with leading brands. Services range from applying advanced analytics to research data, to designing, managing and delivering global consumer research programmes.

Hamada (pictured) recently graduated from Lancaster University with an MSc in Data Science, having previously received an MBA from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. His earlier career involved thirteen years of experience in commercial and business development environments including roles at Telecomax Networks, Sika, and SIAC Group.

In his new position, Hamada will draw on his experience in areas such as machine learning and pattern recognition to help develop these analytics areas for Bonamy Finch. MD Leigh Morris comments: ‘We all know that big data is already playing a significant role in our clients’ thinking, but having access to such a volume of data is useless if agencies are unable to pull together the pieces to genuinely help support business decision making. With the skills and experience that Ahmed brings to our Advanced Analytics team we are increasing our expertise in the interface between big data and primary research.
