London-based opinion research specialist BritainThinks has appointed former C Space exec Anita Nayyar as Associate Director.

BritainThinks was launched in 2010 by OLR co-founders Deborah Mattinson and Viki Cooke, along with their former colleague Ben Shimshon. The firm offers strategic advice based on insight gained from stakeholders, consumers, citizens and employees for political, corporate and not-for-profit clients, while its WorldThinks international division has a specific focus on reputation research.

Nayyar (pictured) joins from co-creation consultancy C Space (formerly Promise Communispace), where she worked for more than six years and latterly served as a Senior Consultant. Before this, she was a Consultant at SocioLogic, and worked for the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) as a Policy Official. In addition, she is the founder of pro-bono campaigning group The Equality Movement.

Commenting on the appointment, Cooke said: 'We are delighted to welcome Anita to BritainThinks - her expertise in the digital, brand and innovation spaces will expand our offer and make her a fantastic asset to our rapidly growing team'.
