In the UK, consumer and sensory research specialist PPL Insights has appointed Helen Buckman and Rachel Pyle as Consumer Research Executives.
The West Sussex-based firm, which was established in 1995, offers a range of techniques for concept testing, new product development, packaging/design pricing, and product testing across FMCG categories including drinks, toiletries and beauty products. In 2014, director Yvonne Taylor
acquired the company from founders Dominic Buck and Keith Greenhoff, and last year, the firm changed its
name from Product Perceptions to PPL Insights.
Buckman previously worked at TNS Global, after graduating from Bristol University with a degree in Biochemistry; while Pyle joins with a BA in Nutrition with Food Consumer Sciences from The University of Reading. In a statement, Taylor said that Buckman’s degree and research experience will enhance the firm’s approach to understanding consumers and products, and Pyle’s degree will complement PPL Insights’ food and drink expertise.
