Cincinnati-based Directions Research has appointed Steve Hoops as a Senior Programmer in its Business Intelligence group.

Hoops (pictured) joins from Nielsen, where he most recently oversaw the North American programming team. During this time, he also supported custom programming, helped transition programming platforms, and served as the key contact for troubleshooting programming or system-related issues.

In his new position, Hoops will support the programming of online surveys, while strengthening the group which supports additional growth and workload for the firm. In a statement, Directions said: 'Steve brings this wide range of programming experience to Directions to help create and deliver innovative solutions to our clients from a technical perspective'.
