Kantar IMRB

October 14 2016

In India, Kantar IMRB has appointed Paru Minocha as Head of its Qualitative Business Unit, replacing Rohini Abraham.

Based in Mumbai, Minocha joined Kantar IMRB in Sept 2015, bringing more than twenty years of MR experience. She began her career as a qual researcher at MARG, then moved to Blackstone Market Facts as a VP. Blackstone was acquired by Synovate and Minocha moved to set up and lead the company's office in Delhi. From here she was promoted to lead Synovate across India, from a base in Mumbai, and then to the role of Head of Innovation for IPSOS. Her experience spans qual and quant, in sectors including social, FMCG, tobacco and automotive. She holds an MBA Marketing and Finance from Xavier's Institute of Management.

In her new role, she will help lead go-to-market services and drive the growth of the Qualitative business across India.

Kantar Insights CEO - South Asia Preeti Reddy comments: 'Paru's experience in both Qualitative and Quantitative will prove to be an asset. She brings in a deep understanding of research, complex business environments and client needs. Paru's cross sector experience will certainly aid IMRB Qualitative to rise to greater heights under her stewardship'.
