Customer data specialist 84.51 degrees has promoted Michael Whynott to Senior Analyst and Donnie Tipton to Lead Engineer; and hired Amanda Rassi as VP - Primary Research and Emily Chaney as Data Analyst.

Whynott, previously an Analyst, combines the duties of creating action-focused custom analytical solutions and fostering the growth of analytical talent within the company, which is owned by supermarket chain Kroger and grew out of the dunnhumbyUSA joint venture. Whynott holds a Master of Science, Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Tipton, previously Senior Network Engineer, will now lead the network team and provide architectural oversight for the network environment.

Rassi will lead an insights and analysis unit complementing the company's core big data capabilities. She joins from Procter & Gamble where she was Associate Director, Consumer and Market Knowledge; and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Miami University.

Chaney is responsible for the coordination of defects and the gathering of requirements for 84.51°’s core customer facing applications, and arrives from Fifth Third Bank where she served as Business Analyst within IT. She graduated with a dual major in Information Systems and Business Management from Ohio University.
