Mac DelaneyData-driven CRM and performance marketing agency Merkle has promoted Mac Delaney to the role of Senior Vice President, Media Investment and Strategy, responsible for the management and expansion of the firm’s top media partnerships.

Merkle, which was acquired by marcoms group Dentsu Aegis Network last year, offers a wide range of data and analytics, marketing technology, digital agency services and consulting, to uncover the consumer insights that drive people-based marketing strategies. Delaney (pictured) joined in 2015 as Head of Programmatic, overseeing the development of Merkle’s programmatic display and social media strategy and offering; and identifying and managing the technology, media, and data partnerships that deliver programmatic and social media programs. He previously held senior roles at Starcom MediaVest Group, Publicis-owned VivaKi, Fox Audience Network, Microsoft, and Yahoo!

In his new role Delaney will also oversee collaboration with Merkle’s Dentsu Aegis Network counterparts. He will report to Chief Media Officer Coleen Kuehn, who comments: ‘Over the past two years, Merkle’s media business has driven significant growth both in size and sophistication of its media portfolio. With Mac’s experience and proven success, he is the perfect fit to provide strategic consultation and innovation for our clients as we continue to collaborate with industry-leading media partners.’
