Paul EdwardsFormer TNS UK and Hall and Partners UK Chief Executive Paul Edwards has joined the board of marketing and comms insights firm delineate.

London-based delineate uses a proprietary approach to develop, test, measure and turn around research informed brand and communications campaigns. Its three key components are audience led insights; original research-based content; and evidence based impact to measure and prove success. The company was founded last year by James (JT) Turner - who is also the CIO of predictive analytics specialist Black Swan Data, and in December appointed Erica Buckley as Insight and Digital Director and Helen Bennie as a Senior Consultant. Turner also launched a research business called opinion.life, in partnership with political and behavioural data scientist Zsolt Kiss, six months ago.

New arrival Edwards (pictured) holds several non-executive roles in global businesses including design agency JKR; and has served as a planning partner with Karmarama, recently acquired by Accenture; and in the market research arm of pwc. He is a former CEO of Lowe UK and The Henley Centre and has worked at Publicis, Young and Rubicam and Bartle Bogle Hegarty.

Turner says of the appointment: 'Paul's depth of experience in research, communications and planning will enrich our 'cut to the chase' model as we help brands and agencies recalibrate the design and delivery of transmedia campaigns'.

delineate is also launching an industry events programme, beginning with 'Winning Pitches', a breakfast seminar in London on October 12th.
