Heather LockhartIn the US, audience data provider V12 Data has appointed Heather Lockhart as Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for leading brand strategy and the integration of all marketing and communications initiatives.

Acquired by Datamentors last year, V12 uses proprietary technology to give business clients access to billions of consumer, business and automotive records. Last month, the firm launched 'automotive purchase-intender audiences', a service allowing brands to target consumers who are actively shopping for vehicles.

Lockhart (pictured) joins from SaaS-based AP automation provider AvidXChange, where she served as VP of Marketing. Prior to this, she was CMO at marketing optimization and sales enablement specialist Naviasys, and CMO at technology transformation services consultancy Axidia Global (acquired by Oracle). Earlier, she held marketing leadership roles at AOL, Disney On Ice, and Mobile Oil. Commenting on the appointment, CEO Anders Ekman said: ‘With over twenty years of experience in building and leading high performing marketing organizations in both B2B and B2C markets, Heather will be a tremendous asset as V12 Data continues to take our position as the industry-leading provider of purchase intender solutions. She has developed a deep understanding of how to drive growth and implement strategic marketing activities that build brand equity and increase market share.’
