In the US, in-app customer experience platform Apptentive has expanded its team with the appointment of Melody Jones as Director of Engineering, Ken Clements as Vice President of Marketing, and Pat Goodwin as Vice President of Finance and Operations.

Through its platform, Seattle, Washington-based Apptentive offers timed surveys, messages, and prompts, which power millions of customer interactions every month on more than a billion devices worldwide. Jones (pictured) joins with more than fifteen years' big data, machine learning, and research experience. Most recently, she worked for media intelligence and communications specialist Cision as VP of Data Science, Enterprise Architecture, before which, she worked for social media insight provider Visible Technologies as Principal Engineer, during which time, she developed several patented pieces of technology, while building a platform that analyzes earned media. In her new role, Jones will lead the development of a new analytics platform to help brands measure customer experience.

Clements has more than twenty years' exec experience in software, having previously held leadership positions at Avanade and Microsoft prior to joining Sitrion, where he served as VP of Marketing and led the launch of an employee mobile solution. He will now lead Apptentive's marketing strategy. Goodwin has more than twenty years' CFO experience, working for Moz, Valve and AltaSource.
