Jim Timony, Joan Martinez and Sarah ChungIn the US, mobile research specialist MFour has appointed long-time GfK exec Jim Timony as Senior Solutions Executive; Joan Martinez as Senior Research Consultant in its Operations team; and Sarah Chung as Solutions Executive.

MFour uses GPS technology to collect information at what it calls the 'point of emotion'; and has developed the Surveys On The Go app, providing access to an all-mobile panel, and the MFourDIY tool through which users can design, program and launch their own surveys. Timony joins with more than 25 years' consumer insights experience. He spent 21 of them at GfK, latterly as Vice President of Media and Communications Research. In 2012, he moved to Phoenix Marketing as VP of Converged Technology & Media. In his new role, Timony is tasked with helping clients make use of the firm's capabilities, including measuring and testing mobile ad effectiveness and gaining insights through the recently launched Path-2-Purchase Platform.

Martinez has twenty years of market research experience across a wide range of business categories. Most recently she was Research Director for Alter Agents, before which she spent eight years at Hall & Partners, was a Field Coordinator at Diagnostic Research, and a Fieldwork Manager at TNS. Her new role involves working with clients from survey design through analysis and recommendations. Chung joins with more than seventeen years' sales experience, including positions with Salesforce, Ingram Micro, Alteryx and Kimberly Clark. At MFour she will help clients use data and insights solutions that include behavioral and profiling data from the Consumer Knowledge Center, combined with real-time, location-specific surveys.
