In the US, digital data collection agency Lightspeed has appointed Valerie Torge as Senior Account Executive.

Torge (pictured) brings nearly a decade of experience to the role, focused on the creation and growth of strategic business partnerships. She joins from Nielsen where she was most recently Associate Director of Client Development, working onsite at Nestlé. Before this, she was a Brand Development Manager with Catalina Marketing, creating results-driven campaigns for CPG clients. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida.

In her new role, based in the Los Angeles area, she will strengthen the commercial team supporting the company's expanding data strategy, led by Jason Dodge, whojoined in April in the new role of SVP, Data Solutions. She reports to Christine Clark, SVP Sales and Business Development, who comments: 'As our business portfolio expands on the West Coast, bringing on a strong, experienced sales leader was crucial. Valerie's industry knowledge, vast experience and keen comprehension of how data insights intersect with consumer understanding will be a huge asset to our clients'.
