In London, innovation company Kitchen8 has hired former Flamingo Associate Director Yuka Uchijima as Senior Insight & Innovation Strategist.

Kitchen8, which also has an office in Singapore, comprises strategists, insight and brand specialists who combine their expertise to help clients reimagine their existing businesses and products. Uchijima (pictured) joins from consumer and cultural insight agency Flamingo, where she initially worked in the Tokyo office, and later transferred to London. Prior to Flamingo, she was a Design Project Assistant for Panasonic, researching and analysing design trends, events and competitor activity and managing multiple design projects.

Commenting on the appointment, Kitchen8 founder and CEO Daniela Barrera said: 'Yuka's arrival strengthens our talent and innovation services in the insight, foresight, ideation and prototyping spaces.
