Dave GinsburgIn the US, customer insights platform UserTesting has promoted Dave Ginsburg to the newly created role of Chief Customer Officer (COO).

San Francisco-based UserTesting offers a platform through which participants record their screen activity and voice as they use a web site, providing feedback on issues such as why they're not buying a particular product or service. Last week, the company acquired market research and user experience (UX) test panel provider UserMuse.

Ginsburg (pictured) joined in 2017 as VP, Strategic Services and most recently served as SVP, Customer Success & Strategic Services. During his time with the firm, he has re-organized the Professional Services team, moved the Customer Success team to a gross-retention model, and launched a support service to provide customers with 24-hour coverage and on-demand access to subject matter experts. Earlier he was VP of Customer Success at Mixpanel and Box, and has also held customer success and professional services leadership roles at Accenture, Scient, Thomson Reuters and eBay Enterprise.

In his new role, Ginsburg will continue to lead all customer success initiatives including training, services and support.
