Shane BaxendaleShane Baxendale has returned full-time to insight and analytics company MESH Experience as VP - Data & Science, after being awarded a doctorate from Cranfield School of Management.

London-based MESH Experience, which also has an office in New York, offers two proprietary methods, 'Experience Driven Marketing' and 'Real-time Experience Tracking' (RET), to help clients understand their customers. The firm collects and analyses data in real-time across the full spectrum of what people experience about a brand, including paid, owned and earned touchpoints.

Baxendale (pictured) joined eight years ago as Experience Statistician, leading the analytics unit and collaborating with account and operations teams to provide tailored solutions to client business questions. MESH Experience and Cranfield School of Management have had a long-standing relationship stemming from working together on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership, and during his PhD studies at Cranfield over the last four years, Baxendale has been employed part-time by MESH, while working with Professors Emma Macdonald and Hugh Wilson, investigating the relative impact of brand-controlled, retailer-controlled, and social media touchpoints on consumer intentions and behaviour.
