Paul KellyLocal audience data specialist Eyeota has appointed Paul Kelly as Commercial Director - Europe, based in the firm's London office.

Eyeota offers access to an audience technology platform through which marketers, data owners and research companies can access data to understand customers and enhance their marketing strategies. Last year, the firm raised $12.5m in a Series B round of funding, part of which it is using to support product development and expand its team.

Kelly (pictured) joins the London office with more than eight years' digital media experience. Most recently, he worked at Parsec Media as Commercial Director of EMEA, having previously been Senior Director of UK Sales at Tapad. Before this, he held various account management roles at Opera Mediaworks, IDG UK and UBM.

In his new position, reporting directly to International MD Aaron Jackson, Kelly is tasked with driving the firm's continued growth in the UK market, while supporting the company's expansion across Continental Europe. He will be responsible for managing the European sales team and collaborating with senior executives at agency partners to develop long-term audience data strategies. Commenting on the appointment, Jackson said: 'Paul's wide network of agency contacts and deep understanding of the broader digital landscape will allow him to make significant strides in driving Eyeota's strategic growth and success in the region. His sales acumen and commercial leadership experience adds a new dynamic that nicely compliments the strength of the existing European team.'
